Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related processes, ensuring smooth and timely execution of visa applications, labor permits, company registrations, and compliance with UAE regulations. The PRO will play a vital role in liaising with various government departments, ensuring the organization remains fully compliant with local labor laws and immigration regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Process all online applications and related transactions through Ministry of Labor and Immigration Departments using related sites (TasHeel / MOHRE / NetWare / GDRFA / eChannel / DHA Portal etc).
  • Prepare required documents for the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior (Immigration), Traffic & Police, Department of Economy, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Armed Forces, Civil Defense Dept; Ministry of Environment; Telecommunications; Embassies; Water and Electricity Dept.; and Oil Field Security Departments.
  • Submit, follow-up, and collect all new employment, Mission, and Visit visas to ensure that visas are processed in a timely manner to support the business.
  • Maintain a database - renew and update all employees and their dependents' visas, labor cards, Emirates ID, and insurance cards in a timely manner to ensure that the company’s records are up-to-date in the labor and immigration departments.
  • Prepare various letters in both Arabic and English, such as No Objection Certificates, Traffic file openings, vehicle insurance and traffic registrations & renewals, and salary certificates.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee documents.
  • Manage petty cash provided for PR Services and submit expenses while maintaining various payment channels (CBD / Noqodi, Edirham / Amwal).
  • Engage with higher management / HR to keep them informed regarding new labor laws and other government regulations.
  • Obtain monthly visa reports from MOL and immigration to keep the company’s files in order.
  • Process Medical and Emirates ID applications and prepare required documents and appointments.
  • Assist other departments in resolving any issues related to company vehicle registration and renewals to ensure that PR services are provided as needed.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE with expertise in government relations, labor laws, and visa processing.

Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and various online government portals.

Proficiency in using MOHRE, TasHeel, NetWare, GDRFA, eChannel, DHA Portal, and other government systems.

Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

Additional Information

Strong coordination & organizational skills – Ability to handle multiple mobilization/demobilization cases at once.
