Job Summary:

The role is responsible for managing all activities related to obtaining, renewing, and ensuring compliance with licenses, permits, and visas for the organization. It involves close coordination with government authorities such as the Immigration Department, Ministry of Labor, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, and other regulatory bodies. The position ensures timely submission of required documents, keeps stakeholders informed about regulatory changes, maintains accurate records, manages PR expenses, and represents the company in government offices for complex cases. Additionally, the role handles labor and residency visa processes for employees in full compliance with labor and immigration laws.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the application, renewal, and compliance of all necessary licenses and permits required for the organization's operations
• Ensure timely submission of documentation and adherence to licensing requirements as per regulatory bodies
• Ensures complete and timely preparation of documents for the purpose of Trade Licenses and Permits issuance and renewals
• Responsible for preparing and processing labor and residency visa applications and documents for all employees in compliance with labor and immigration regulations and requirements
• Liaises with Immigration Department. MOL, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce and any other government departments in relation to Trade Licenses/Labor and Immigration requirements, setting up new legal entities
• Provides proactive and advance notification to the Division/Business Unit/Department about any changes in government rules & regulations
• Responds to inquiries / received from GMG stakeholders regarding licensing related matters in a timely and professional manner
• Maintains and tracks records of personnel and commercial/registration related documents for subsequent use
• Ensures PR expenses are periodically updated and receipts duly submitted
• Attends complex cases at Police Stations, Courts, Ministry of Labor and other Government Offices on behalf of the Group as and when required

The incumbent holds no direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to engage effectively within their function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role contributes meaningfully, whether through operational contributions and/or by offering specialized expertise, guidance, and support, to ensure alignment with either functional and/or strategic organizational goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

• High School/ Diploma or formal education in related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in public relations, licensing, or a similar role within a corporate or governmental setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and in Arabic.
