Public Relations / Business Development Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Summary/Objective:

We are seeking to hire a Public Relations Manager (or Public Relations Department Manager) who will oversee all activities related to public relations, including interactions with the press. Responsible for managing a group of PR specialists, delegating responsibilities, drafting and editing press releases, and assisting with the organization of company events such as press conferences.

Essential Functions:

  1. Find and learn about potential clients
  2. Build and maintain relationships with clients
  3. Work with sales teams to create mutually beneficial proposals
  4. Discuss contract terms with clients and stakeholders
  5. Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as planned
  6. Utilize customer and competitor data to derive insights
  7. Make presentations to potential clients and internal executives
  8. Develop and implement processes and policies to support business growth
  9. Identify and add qualified leads to the sales pipeline
  10. Establish and manage strategic partnerships
  11. Track proposal components and report on their status
  12. Conduct ongoing market research
  13. Collaborate with the pricing department on proposal pricing
  14. Manage the sales process from start to finish
  15. Prepare and submit sales contracts

Required Education and Experience:

  • Experience in managing a news conference successfully

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Works in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

Requires talking, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, using hands, and reaching with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends and holidays as needed.

Travel:

Occasional travel required.

Work Authorization:

Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
