Job summary

Yosh in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep lobbies, corridors, lifts, reception areas, washrooms, and meeting spaces clean and presentable. You will follow cleaning schedules, operate equipment safely, and replenish supplies as needed.

The role requires excellent attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a public area attendant, cleaner, housekeeping, or similar role is desirable; training may be provided.
• Good understanding of cleaning methods, hygiene standards, and the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, checklists, and health and safety procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas to the required standards.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and respond promptly to requests.
• Clean, sanitise, and replenish public washrooms.
• Keep entrances and reception areas tidy and presentable.
• Check public areas and report spills, hazards, or damage.
• Use cleaning equipment safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health and safety requirements.
