Job summary

Yosh in Abu Dhabi Emirate is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to the highest standards. You will clean, restock amenities, report maintenance needs, and follow safety procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.

Fluency in English is preferred, experience in hospitality is advantageous, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping roles preferred.
• Experience in hotel, serviced apartment, or cleaning operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to communicate in English and Myanmar or Filipino to support communication with guests and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and service quality.
• Good communication, teamwork, organisational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks within service times.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push and handle equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, corridors, and other areas per standards.
• Make beds, change linen, replace towels, dust, vacuum, and mop.
• Replenish amenities, minibar items, stationery, towels, and supplies.
• Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness for occupancy.
• Follow schedules and instructions from supervisor or manager.
• Handle guest belongings with care and report issues promptly.
• Report maintenance defects or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and safely.
• Maintain trolleys, cupboards, and storage areas in good condition.
• Collect and manage linen in accordance with procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and refer complaints appropriately.
• Adhere to health, safety, and infection prevention procedures.
• Support deep-cleaning activities and special events as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
