Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and highquality lessons to IGCSE and ALevel students following the British curriculum. The teacher will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of psychology and support them in achieving academic excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge/Edexcel IGCSE and ALevel Psychology curriculum.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater for different learning styles and abilities.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and update lesson plans schemes of work and teaching materials.
  • Assess, record and report on student progress regularly.
  • Provide individual support and guidance to students fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities such as psychology clubs, debates and field trips.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in psychology and education to enhance teaching methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student development.
  • Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
