Overview

Hire My Tech is looking to hire Psychiatrist for one of our clients. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with mental health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing medication management in an outpatient setting. You will work closely with therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive, holistic care. This role is ideal for a motivated and compassionate psychiatrist who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and diagnoses for a wide range of mental health disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, ensuring effectiveness and safety.
  • Provide psychotherapy or supportive counseling where applicable.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychologists, and medical staff.
  • Deliver psychoeducation to patients and families, enhancing awareness and engagement in treatment.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential medical records in compliance with DHA regulations and clinic standards.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Stay current with emerging psychiatric research, therapies, and best practices.
  • Uphold ethical, professional, and cultural standards at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Certification:

  • Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with a postgraduate specialization in Psychiatry (Residency or Fellowship).
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification (preferred).

Licensing:

  • Must hold a valid license to practice Psychiatry in home country.
  • Must be eligible for a Specialist Psychiatrist License from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
  • Candidates holding an active DHA license, DHA eligibility letter, or transferable HAAD/MOH license will be prioritized.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in Psychiatry.
  • Outpatient clinical experience preferred, though inpatient experience is also valuable.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong expertise in psychopharmacology and psychiatric treatment modalities.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with cultural sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
