Position: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including interviews and mental status examinations, to determine diagnosis and treatment plan
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients
3. Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications as needed
4. Conduct therapy sessions and provide counseling to patients
5. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
6. Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and treatment options
7. Attend team meetings and provide input on patient care
8. Stay current on the latest research, treatments, and developments in the field of psychiatry

1. Medical degree and active Medical Council registration
2. Completion of specialization in Psychiatry
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues
6. Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to patient care
7. In-depth knowledge of psychiatric disorders, diagnostic criteria, and treatment options
8. Ability to manage a diverse patient load and prioritize tasks effectively
