Proposal Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented proposal engineer to prepare technical and commercial proposals in response to client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely and competitive submissions.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze client requirements and prepare technical and commercial proposals.
2. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
3. Develop cost estimates, project timelines, and technical documentation.
4. Ensure proposals comply with industry standards, company policies, and client expectations.
5. Review contracts and bid documents to assess project feasibility.
6. Maintain and update proposal templates, pricing structures, and project databases.
7. Support the sales team in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, or related field).
2. 3-5 years of experience in proposal development, cost estimation, or related roles.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management.
4. Proficiency in proposal writing, documentation, and bid preparation.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Experience with proposal management tools and software is a plus.
