Our client is looking for aProposal Engineer having experience in technical proposal preparation and cost estimation, preferably within the fire and safety industry. Candidates with a background in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply. This role involves managing the end-to-end proposal development process for engineering solutions.Key Responsibilities:1. Proposal Development & Cost Estimation:- Analyze client requirements and develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.- Prepare accurate cost estimates ensuring competitiveness and profitability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and operations.- Ensure all proposals comply with client specifications, industry standards, and internal guidelines.2. Client & Stakeholder Communication:- Interact with clients to understand technical needs and address queries.- Support business development and sales teams with proposal content and pricing insights.- Assist in negotiations by providing technical and commercial justifications.3. Product Research & Development:- Stay updated on new technologies and products relevant to the company's offerings.- Conduct research to propose optimal, tailored solutions.- Evaluate vendors and suppliers for quality and cost-effectiveness.4.
