Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate tenant placements and manage lease agreements, including renewals and terminations, to maintain occupancy rates.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns promptly and fostering positive relationships.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and minimize vacancy rates, leveraging local market insights.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff and external vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
  • Prepare detailed reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in property management laws to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
  • Handle eviction processes and legal disputes, ensuring adherence to local laws while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred, with a focus on property management principles.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management or real estate, showcasing a proven track record in managing diverse properties.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), to enhance industry credibility.
  • Familiarity with property management software and tools, such as Yardi or AppFolio, to streamline operations and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions that drive property performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to address issues proactively and effectively.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work with diverse tenant backgrounds and community dynamics.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional language skills considered a significant asset for diverse tenant interactions.
