Job Description
- Oversee daily operations of residential or commercial properties, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate tenant placements and manage lease agreements, including renewals and terminations, to maintain occupancy rates.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures to enhance profitability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns promptly and fostering positive relationships.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and minimize vacancy rates, leveraging local market insights.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and external vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
- Prepare detailed reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial outcomes for stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in property management laws to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
- Handle eviction processes and legal disputes, ensuring adherence to local laws while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred, with a focus on property management principles.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management or real estate, showcasing a proven track record in managing diverse properties.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), to enhance industry credibility.
- Familiarity with property management software and tools, such as Yardi or AppFolio, to streamline operations and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions that drive property performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
