Job Description
- Assist in Identifying retail projects in UAE and other GCC countries.
- Conduct ongoing research on upcoming / available retail sites (new Shopping Malls, Store Sites etc) and related property information and update the group on the available options in retail development projects.
- Liaison / Coordinate with existing and new developers to scout for retail space.
- Coordinate with the Concept teams for retail location / space requirement.
- Follow up on ongoing property negotiations.
- Follow up on outstanding legal comments / pending sign offs on legal / lease agreements relating to retail locations / properties.
- Coordinate with the Finance team for payment of rentals or any other related financial issues.
- Coordinate with the Legal team for lease renewals or any other pending legal related issues like contract modifications and convey the same to Mall Management / Property Developers / Owners.
- Coordinate with individual Concept teams on agreement renewals and rent payments toward the Mall / leased retail space.
- Maintain and update status reports and retail location data file (Details of existing / prospective retail properties including but not limited to Mall Management / Property Developer / Brokerage House details, Owners details, area of the property, space allocated / occupied by Concepts, base rent, service charges, tenure of lease, fit out period, handover date, opening date, action plans).
- Assist in maintaining market intelligence and competitor activity analysis from a retail property development and business expansion perspective.
- Prepare updates on Projects and Property Development, this includes Quarterly reports in conjunction with Head – Property Development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in commercial or residential real estate.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of local property laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing properties and achieving occupancy and financial goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
- Professional demeanor, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
