  • Expected to establish direct contact with Client and other Bureau Veritas offices.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Specialty
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Shop Inspection coordination experience with technical background
  • CSWIP 3.0/3.1/3.2 or AWS-CWI, ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT & PT preferred
Education
  • Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HNC
Training
  • Worldwide Shop Inspection coordination with good communication skills in English
  • Bureau Veritas Shop Inspection Guidelines
Technical Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of International Codes & Standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, and BS.
  • Experience with Quality Plans, Inspection reports review, according to client specifications and technical requirements.
  • Application of Codes, standards, project specifications, and procedures.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar field
Responsibilities / Authorities
Primary Functions
  • Review contractual requirements (Technical standards, specifications, etc.)
  • Define and review Quality Plans and relevant procedures
  • Review and validate inspection documentation (technical aspects, schedules, milestones, reports, logistics, coordination)
  • Define Bureau Veritas interventions
  • Send instructions to BV offices with technical specifications, purchase orders, and contact details
  • Coordinate inspection scheduling with BV offices
  • Oversee inspection execution, reporting, non-conformities, and deliverables
  • Ensure inspection quality according to BV Quality System
  • Handle non-conformities and corrective actions
  • Follow up on report submissions
  • Review inspection reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review and certify invoices for payment
  • Promote Bureau Veritas services to clients
  • Follow security guidelines and safeguard personal security
  • Participate in knowledge sharing
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to clients
Technical Expertise
  • Apply codes, standards, project specifications, and procedures
  • Conduct activities as per primary functions within competency
  • Review reports and verify non-conformities
  • Identify required BV interventions based on Quality Plan
  • Review inspection procedures
Business Requirements
  • Report daily work to Senior Shop Inspection Coordinator
  • Report concerns to INP Manager
  • Attend client meetings and maintain good relationships
