Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing & Communications team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in UAE , hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Projects Marketing Leader, you will drive the development and execution of the Marketing & Communications agenda for the CMO in the region, while supporting the broader Digital Marketing strategy at the enterprise level. This role requires a laser focus on lead generation and seamless alignment between marketing and sales (“the marketing & sales handshake”), ensuring measurable impact and accelerated growth. You will collaborate across diverse stakeholders, champion operational excellence, and deliver disciplined execution with pace and precision.

We will count on you to :

Partner with leadership to design and implement effective processes and an operating model for the marketing and communications team, ensuring adoption and disciplined execution.

Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly planning and reporting cycles, introducing structure, accountability, and a focus on lead generation metrics.

Drive the integration of marketing and sales efforts, ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified leads and alignment on pipeline goals.

Support the marketing and communications leader in developing strategies, setting priorities, and preparing materials for key meetings and presentations.

Provide data-driven analysis and actionable recommendations on key issues and opportunities to support informed decision-making.

Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, establishing effective meeting cadences, forums, and workflow tools.

Identify and remove roadblocks, escalate misalignments, and ensure teams are set up for successful execution.

Oversee workflow processes and capacity planning, and lead or participate in strategic projects and high-priority operational initiatives.

Assess, implement, and optimize tools and platforms that support workflow, process efficiency, and lead management.

Manage the marketing and communications budget, including monthly reconciliations and annual planning.

Drive team learning and development and support regular reporting to local and global business stakeholders.

Analytical & Numeracy Skills

Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and comfort with numbers, data, and metrics.

Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategy, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement, especially in lead generation and sales enablement.

Prepare, interpret, and present complex data sets and reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Apply a data-driven approach to identify trends, optimize performance, and support business goals.

Confidently manage budget planning, forecasting, and reconciliations with accuracy and accountability.

Accountabilities

Build and deliver a sound operating rhythm, planning, and reporting approach for the marketing and comms team.

Foster accountability and organization in a positive, collaborative way.

Develop and manage an integrated GTM calendar for all marketing and communications activity, ensuring coordinated, high-impact campaigns across Marsh, Mercer, and Marsh McLennan brands.

Establish structure and rigor around budget management and annual budget requests.

Contribute to a positive team culture, provide mentorship, and support the team’s marketing maturity and growth.

What you need to have :

Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing (corporate or agency), with expertise in strategy, leadership, and people management.

Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field; ongoing education / upskilling is a plus.

Proven experience in multi-channel marketing (B2B and direct), leading in complex organizations.

Strategic, analytical, and creative thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
