Job summary

Euro Mechanical, Abu Dhabi-based, is seeking a Projects Director – EPC to assume single-point accountability for the EPC portfolio, reporting to the VP – EPC. You will unify Projects, Engineering and Subcontracts under one leadership to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget projects for major energy clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience delivering large-scale oil & gas EPC projects.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of the full EPC project portfolio, across onshore and offshore projects.
• Provide integrated leadership across Projects, Engineering and Procurement & Subcontracts.
• Ensure projects meet agreed schedule, budget, quality, HSE and client commitments.
• Maintain clear portfolio-level visibility of priorities, performance, resources, risks and constraints.
• Lead and develop Project Managers, building accountability and consistency in delivery.
• Align engineering deliverables and procurement packages with construction needs and project schedules.
• Work closely with Planning & Project Controls to strengthen forecasting and budget control.
• Partner with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain and QHSE for smooth end-to-end execution.
• Resolve cross-project and cross-functional issues quickly, reducing unnecessary escalation.
• Drive continuous improvement in EPC processes, systems and digitalisation.
• Build project leadership capability and support succession planning within EPC.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline
• Strong senior leadership experience in Oil & Gas EPC project delivery
• Proven track record managing multiple complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, onshore and offshore
• Solid understanding of engineering, procurement, subcontracting, construction and project controls
• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Confident decision-making and senior stakeholder management
