You are a Projects Development Manager who is hardworking and customer-focused. You start your day motivated to meet new and existing customers and identify opportunities for control systems of our Gas Turbine solutions that will positively impact customer operations and help them achieve their reliability and plant objectives, while protecting and modernizing our fleet. You are self-driven, collaborative, and strive daily to understand customer needs and drivers, enabling you to present solid technical arguments and support building business cases that lead to successful sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Oversee the sales development process for key Modernization and Upgrades (M&U) Projects for control systems of our industrial and aeroderivative Gas Turbines in the Middle East. Responsible for lead identification, technical solution development, strategy setting, and opportunity development in collaboration with regional client managers.
• Understand, co-develop, and promote technical solutions for complex projects tailored to our external clients' requirements and operational/ commercial conditions in the Middle East.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients, including Gas Turbine Products Competence Centres globally, to ensure the best solutions are offered, and new solutions are suggested if necessary.
• Conduct site surveys at customer locations, as needed, to understand exact site requirements and mitigate risks during project execution.
• Collaborate with Gas Turbine engineering and proposal teams during proposal preparation, ensuring timely submissions that meet customer expectations. Work closely with Product Development Managers and Client Managers to develop and prioritize opportunities aligned with the business pipeline.
• Support the Proposal Team as a technical interface, ensuring proposals are accurate and include technological improvements. Lead feasibility and engineering studies as needed.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Control Engineering or a related field, with over 10 years of experience.
• Experience with control systems of gas turbine technology, design, markets, and the Energy and Oil & Gas industry.
• Customer-oriented and business-driven. Proactive with a high ownership culture. Excellent communication skills to guide clients toward optimal solutions.
• Skilled in deciphering and drafting complex technical proposals efficiently.
• Organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and able to coordinate diverse teams across organizational boundaries.
• Willing to travel locally and internationally up to 35%.
