This major UK and international law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an ambitious Senior Associate to join their busy and thriving Projects / Energy & Infrastructure practice in Dubai. Their highly rated team carries out a wide range of work focused on these sectors, spanning project finance, PPP, front-end construction, and sector-focused acquisitions and joint ventures, across the Middle East (with a growing emphasis on Saudi), Asia and Africa. Clients include major international and local banks, development banks, governments, infrastructure asset owners, developers, contractors and service companies. This varied and interesting high-level transactional role will involve a large amount of client contact and provide opportunities to work on innovative and high-profile projects in the region and globally. You'll be working closely with a highly rated team of senior lawyers, offering every opportunity to learn and develop your career and profile at top level within the region. Applicants should ideally be UK or Commonwealth qualified lawyers with experience in a major law firm with an established energy and/or infrastructure practice. You'll need to have high-level experience of project development transactions from a commercial and/or finance perspective, and notable experience of acting in a leading role in key transactions (taking responsibility for client service and of managing the transaction and team). A readiness to be involved in BD and marketing will also be needed.
