Overview

We are looking for a Projects Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will provide management and direction for technical disciplines and lead assigned projects. We are seeking a versatile Projects Coordinator with exceptional communication, analytical, and management skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Provide front line project specific support to design and technical teams.
  • Reviews and approves technical staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules on each project.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing level, including temporary personnel, as needed. Reviews and approves staff forecasting reports.
  • Manages architectural efforts and coordinates all technical discipline staffing requirements.
  • Monitors the quality and progress of the technical discipline on the project including subcontractors, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.
  • Works closely with Project Manager to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to technical discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity.
  • Review the subcontractor’s / supplier material submittals and follow up with consultant approvals according to the applicable standards and project specifications.
  • Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees. Hires, offers personnel development, conducts performance evaluations, counsels employees, takes corrective actions (as required), and approves terminations.
  • Ensures that new employees receive orientation on company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures performance within overhead budgets authorized for the discipline.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture (or equivalent) is required and typically 10+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience. Professional registration is required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
  • Job Specific:
  • In-depth working knowledge of current Autodesk products such as but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil3D and Revit with proficiency in BIM/ CAD processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with client, management, and project personnel on technical and non-technical subjects.
