A leading company in the electrical industry seeks a Project Sales Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The role involves developing client relationships, pursuing sales opportunities for electrical cables, and delivering technical presentations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant sales experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project sales, preferably in the cable industry.
• UAE driving license and familiarity with the Abu Dhabi market.
• Existing network of clients in the construction and industrial sectors is preferred.

Job Description

• Develop and manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders in Abu Dhabi
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities for electrical cables within construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients, highlighting product features and benefits.
• Conduct market research to understand project requirements and competitor offerings.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure project deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or non-engineering with long experience in a similar role and industry.
• 3+ years of experience in project sales, preferably in the cable industry or working for distributors/ Trading companies/ contracting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical cables, project management, and sales techniques.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• UAE driving license and familiarity with the Abu Dhabi market.

Preferred:

• Existing network of clients in the construction and industrial sectors in Abu Dhabi.
• English is mandatory and Arabic is preferred.
