Job Overview:

The Project Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and driving the company’s growth. The BDO plays a crucial role in expanding the company’s market presence, ensuring that sales and revenue goals are met, and working closely with the Business Development Manager to implement strategies that foster business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze competitors, market conditions, and customer needs to develop effective business development strategies.
  • Propose and implement new business initiatives and areas of growth.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Network with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify business opportunities.
  • Understand client needs and work with internal teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Identify and qualify leads through various sources, including referrals, networking, and online platforms.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the successful delivery of business solutions.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding progress, sales forecasts, and new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation:
  • Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor and report on key business development metrics, sales performance, and project status.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in Marine/Poultry/Cement/Steel/Chemical/Food & Beverage industries preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles (Min 3+ years UAE experience preferred).
  • Technical review of customer inquiries, preparation of quotations, commercial negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of market research techniques and industry trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-driven attitude with a passion for business growth.
  • Should be confident in working independently.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing or e-commerce strategies will be an added value.
  • Should have a valid UAE driving license.
