Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro in Abu Dhabi seeks a QA/QC coordinator to lead the project's quality assurance plan, implement PQP, review method statements, and secure client approvals for key inspections.

The role covers planning QA/QC activities, training staff and subcontractors on quality requirements, coordinating with the site team, and maintaining traceable records of tests and inspections to satisfy project standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and implementing Project Quality plan.
• Setting-up/establishing and monitoring all project QA/QC
• Implementing project procedures and PQP, on approval by the Client
• Reviewing Method Statements, preparing corresponding Inspection & Test Plans and checklists/forms and obtaining approval from Client, as required
• Planning and allocating various QA/QC activities to team members
• Orientating/training staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality requirements
• Coordinating with the site team for effective implementation of the approved PQP
• Coordinating with subcontractors for implementation applicable parts of the PQP
• Identifying, calibrating, reviewing and maintaining a list of testing and measuring equipment
• Identifying testing laboratories and obtaining approvals
• Inspecting and testing incoming materials, activities/workmanship per ITP and maintaining identifiable and traceable records
• Coordinating with the site team to prepare Requests for Inspection (RFIs)
• Coordinating inspections and tests, per the approved ITP, with the Clients and obtaining clearances
