Job summary

A leading hospitality group located in Dubai seeks a seasoned procurement manager to develop tailored procurement strategies and manage key projects. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of experience in related fields, with skills in negotiation and client management. Arabic proficiency is advantageous. Role may require some travel and focuses on building long-term relationships with owners and designers.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in relevant construction, hotel opening or design roles.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, consulting, and financial services preferred.
  • Arabic speaking is a plus.

Job Description
  • Develop strong understanding of Brands DNA and translate it into bespoke procurement strategies for new projects and refurbishments
  • Work closely with the Partnerships & Solutions communities to develop relevant Procurement solutions for FF&E / OS&E and ensure these are clearly communicated and implemented
  • Identify Operating Capital leverage opportunities across the hotel network
  • High degree of emotional intelligence to influence both internally (Development, D&TS, Operations, F&B, Wellbeing, GMs) and externally (Owners, project directors, Interior Designers, F&B consultants, Procurement consultants)
  • Ensure that Accor’s Procurement solutions are top of owner, designer, procurement agent mind at pre‑opening and Capital Projects stage
  • Setup procurement for long‑term success by showcasing strong commercial value early in the owners/operations relationship
  • P&L driven, increase approved Accor solutions capture’s rate
  • Position may require up to 30% travel
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in relevant construction, hotel opening or design roles
  • Hospitality, retail, consulting and financial services industry experience preferred
  • Arabic speaking is a plus
  • Excellent capacity for client management
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiations skills
  • Empathetic, business savvy and operationally aware
  • Strong project managers with high degree of attention to details
