Job Description
- Coordinates Procurement activities within the Projects and ensures that Procurement operations satisfy project requirements and conform to established business unit, procurement and corporate policies, instructions, procedures and guidelines.
- Coordinate and oversee procurement activities to ensure timely and efficient sourcing of materials and services.
- Ensure that all procurement processes align with company policies, procedures, and project-specific requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement plans, RFQs, RFPs, and purchase orders (POs) in accordance with project schedules.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Monitor and track procurement progress, identifying risks and potential delays, and implementing corrective actions.
- Facilitate supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalization in collaboration with procurement and legal teams.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Ensure alignment between procurement, engineering, logistics, and project execution teams.
- Support the expediting process by coordinating with vendors and tracking material readiness.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory standards related to procurement activities.
- Provide regular procurement status updates to project management and senior stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or IT sectors is preferred, showcasing adaptability to industry-specific procurement practices.
