Job Purpose:

The Design and Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the design and planning phases of infrastructure projects, including roads, wastewater systems, landscaping, and waste management. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, managing resources, and delivering high-quality designs that meet project timelines and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all design activities for roads, wastewater, landscaping, and waste management projects.
• Ensure designs are innovative, cost-effective, sustainable, and meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure seamless integration of design components.
• Review and approve design deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Implement design standards, codes, and best practices to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for the design and planning phases.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to guide project planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and performance of design and planning activities, ensuring milestones are met.
