Job summary

QP in Dubai is seeking a Project Planner to build, manage, and maintain project programmes that enable teams and clients to make informed decisions. You will translate scope, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing into schedules, monitor progress, and support proactive risk and change management.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, and Senior Partners to contribute to best-practice planning standards across the business and deliver convincing planning dashboards for

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project planning/scheduling in construction, engineering, architecture, or PM consultancy.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, procurement, design coordination, and delivery sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project programmes across multiple projects (concept to completion).
• Set up Work Breakdown Structures, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Baseline schedules, track progress, and produce look-ahead plans (2–6 weeks) and master schedules.
• Support resource planning and capacity forecasting with PMs and discipline leads.
• Identify schedule risks and constraints early; propose mitigation plans and scenario options.
• Manage programme updates, change impacts, and schedule revisions, including change logs.
• Prepare concise planning dashboards and reports for internal and client-facing meetings.
• Facilitate planning workshops and coordination sessions to align scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Ensure planning documentation is controlled, auditable, and aligned to QP standards.
• Contribute to improving planning templates, SOPs, and reporting cadence across the business.

Role purpose

As Project Planner, you will build, manage, and maintain project programmes that enable teams and clients to make informed decisions. You will translate scope, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing into clear schedules, monitor progress, and support proactive risk and change management.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, and Senior Partners, contributing to best-practice planning standards across QP.

What you bring

• 3+ years in project planning/scheduling in construction, engineering, architecture, or PM consultancy (hotel and complex projects preferred).
• Strong proficiency in planning tools (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project). Power BI and Excel reporting skills are an advantage.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle, procurement, design coordination, and delivery sequencing.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, create structure, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to version control and reporting.
• Confident, collaborative style with the ability to influence without authority.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
