The candidate will report to the Design Director and will be responsible for managing the project programme, delivery schedule, project progress reporting, client engagement, local project office management, and fee collection.

He/she will be responsible for the success of the project from administrative and programme perspectives. He/she will manage stakeholder relationships and work closely with the technical and project delivery teams to ensure contractual compliance and provide technical guidance as needed.

Responsible for setting up project management systems and documents, appointing technical staff, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing reporting lines and communication channels. Ensures the successful delivery of the scope of work from inception to completion, maintaining quality, timeliness, cost, and technical alignment with client requirements and procedures.

The incumbent will exemplify SJ values, ethics, and the code of conduct, ensuring all activities adhere to these principles.

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in programme and contract management for regional, urban, or development planning projects.
• Experience in client and contractual management, stakeholder engagement, and administering large-scale planning project contracts.
• Master's degree in Regional Planning, Urban Planning, or Development Planning; an advanced degree in project management or PMP certification is a plus.
• International experience in development planning, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Experience in implementing master plans.
• Proven leadership in project management, contractual management, fee collection, and conflict resolution.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills.
• Willing to relocate to Oman for the project duration.
