Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee a high-profile Technical Integrity Verification project for oil & gas assets in the UAE on a short-term contract. You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that all verification activities—across process, mechanical, rotating equipment, and ICSS disciplines—are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with ADNOC and international integrity standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain the project execution plan, master schedule, resource plan, and budget for all verification activities. Coordinate discipline leads (process, mechanical, rotating equipment, instrumentation & controls) to ensure alignment of scope, deliverables, and timelines.
2. Risk & Quality Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; implement corrective actions to keep the TIV scope on track. Establish and enforce quality control processes, ensuring deliverables meet client, regulatory, and internal standards.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as primary interface with client representatives (e.g., ADNOC), operations, maintenance, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Facilitate regular progress reviews, steering-committee meetings, and technical workshops (HAZOP / LOPA re-verifications).
4. Budget & Commercial Oversight: Manage project finances, track expenditures against budget, approve invoices, and drive cost-control initiatives. Negotiate and manage sub-contractor agreements and change-order processes.
5. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a multi-discipline project team of engineers, inspectors, and technical specialists. Ensure effective communication, clear roles, and collaborative culture across onshore / offshore workstreams.
6. Health, Safety & Compliance: Champion HSE best practices throughout the project lifecycle; ensure all activities adhere to ADNOC and UAE regulatory requirements. Oversee the verification of Health, Safety & Environmental Critical Elements (HSECEs) as part of the integrity scope.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 12+ years’ project management experience in the oil & gas industry, including brownfield or asset-integrity verification projects.
• Demonstrated track record managing multi-discipline teams on short-term, high-intensity contracts.
• Strong knowledge of Technical Integrity Verification processes, HSECEs, and relevant standards (ADNOC, API, ASME, IEC).
• Excellent stakeholder-management, negotiation, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Willingness to mobilize quickly to UAE sites and remain on-site as required throughout the contract.
