Job description

The Project Manager Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects while leading a team of project managers and Project Coordinators. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as necessary, and ensure deliverables meet established quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers and Project coordinators, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and successes to executive leadership and business units.
  • Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and refine project management methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues.
  • Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions to minimize project disruptions.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular status reports, highlighting key milestones, resource utilization, and potential risks.
  • Ensure transparent communication of project changes and decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Proven track record in project management with experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Background in HR projects would be an advantage
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong understanding of SAAS systems and various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Leadership & Communication:
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders and foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Certifications:
  • Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent are highly desirable.

Working Conditions:
