Project Manager - Special Projects : Government Entity

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects from inception to execution, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of strategic initiatives while collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders to drive measurable impact.

Description

1. Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic and high-impact projects across various government and public sector domains.
2. Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and implementation strategies aligned with leadership priorities and organizational mandates.
3. Ensure project governance, risk management, and change control mechanisms are effectively applied throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and alignment at all stages.
5. Provide project reporting and performance updates to leadership, highlighting progress, key risks, and dependencies.
6. Support the development of project frameworks, methodologies, and tools that enhance delivery capability across the Ideas Foundry team.

Minimum Requirements

1. An undergraduate degree from a top-tier university. A master's degree is preferred.
2. 6 - 10 years of experience in project management, including strategic or transformation initiatives.
3. Must come with experience from a global consulting firm or experience managing large scale projects within the public sector/large scale organisations.
4. Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
5. Ability to adapt in a fluid environment and manage multiple workstreams.
6. Clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
7. Proven track record of delivery within high-stakes environments.
