Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi area, to lead the direction, coordination and successful completion of complex projects in the built environment. The role requires aligning with organizational strategy and client commitments while driving delivery excellence.

Responsibilities include planning, scoping, budgeting, scheduling, team leadership, quality assurance, stakeholder communication and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the built environment or construction industry.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Familiarity with PMBOK and ISO 21500.
• Strong analytical and financial management skills.
• Experience in stakeholder management and executive-level reporting.

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Advanced project planning risk management time management and other project management skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera Jira)
• Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
• Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation and vendor management
• Proven conflict resolution experience and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g. PMBOK ISO 21500)
• Strong analytical and financial management skills
• Experience in stakeholder management and executive-level reporting.
