Job DescriptionA project manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement projects
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define tasks and required resources
- Collect and manage project team
- Manage the project budget
- Allocate project resources
- Create a project schedule and timeline
- Support and direct team
- Lead quality assurance
- Report on the project status
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
- Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
- Evaluate and assess the result of the project
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate team meetings and foster effective communication among team members
- Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies
QualificationsQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the built environment or construction industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
- Advanced project planning, risk management, time management, and other project management skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira)
- Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
- Demonstrated ability in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Proven conflict resolution experience and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., PMBOK, ISO 21500)
- Strong analytical and financial management skills
- Experience in stakeholder management and executive-level reporting.
