Job Description

  • Oversee all phases of ship repair projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with ship owners, classification societies, and various stakeholders to establish project scope, deliverables, and timelines specific to ship repair requirements.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize workflow and meet critical milestones in repair operations.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to foster collaboration and maximize efficiency during the repair process.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to track project status, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols throughout the repair project lifecycle.
  • Manage procurement of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for ship repairs, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery.
