Project Manager (Roads and Transportation)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager specializing in Roads and Transportation to lead our infrastructure projects in the UAE. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of project management principles within the transportation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of roads and transportation projects.
2. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
3. Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives.
4. Implement project management methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or delays proactively.
6. Ensure compliance with local regulations and quality standards throughout project lifecycle.
7. Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to safeguard against unforeseen challenges.
8. Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. Proven experience (13+ years) in managing roads and transportation projects.
3. Strong understanding of project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and communication.
5. Demonstrable experience in budget management and financial reporting.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Knowledge of local transportation regulations and standards in the UAE.
8. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
