JOB PURPOSE:
The Project Manager reports to the local corporate representative, oversee and supervises the local team necessary for project execution. The primary responsibilities include managing project delivery within the timeline and quality standards while maintaining scope control.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Initiation and Execution:
- Initiation: Prepare for the launch of the project to install and adjust large-scale medical equipment (particle beam therapy system) at a local medical institution, including local planning, obtaining estimates, and handling permits.
- Execution: After receiving the project order, supervise the team and achieve results within the deadline and budget.
Leadership:
- Coordinate with the manufacturer of the large medical equipment (Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation), and lead coordination with local contractors and relevant ministries/agencies.
- Provide guidance and training to team members, leading the team towards successful project completion.
Expertise:
- Knowledge required for applying and obtaining permits for the import, sale, and maintenance of large medical equipment.
- Technical knowledge of the configuration and installation/adjustment of particle beam therapy systems.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with the local corporate representative, other departments, and hospital representatives at the installation site.
Budget Management:
- Manage the project budget and maximize cost efficiency.
Quality Management:
- Maintain project quality standards and deliver results that exceed customer expectations.
Project Management:
- Manage the project schedule, take proactive measures to prevent delays, and optimize the workflow.
Skills
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in bio-medical engineering or an equivalent engineering degree from the related field.
- Project Management Professional - (PMP) certification is desirable.
Experience:
- A maximum of 10+ years of project management experience.
- Experience in installation, adjustment, and maintenance of radiation therapy equipment is desirable.
