Job Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones in coordination with architects, engineers, and stakeholders. Create and maintain schedules using project management software to ensure timely project delivery.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and control project costs to stay within financial targets. Analyze variances and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and site personnel. Coordinate tasks among internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Ensure all parties adhere to contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure construction work complies with all building codes, safety regulations, permits, and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address issues proactively.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, change orders, site diaries, and cost tracking. Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders. Communicate clearly and effectively to manage expectations and resolve issues.
- Health & Safety Oversight: Enforce health and safety policies and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Lead incident investigations and implement improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5–7 years of project management experience in the UAE construction industry
- Valid DEWA and DM approvals (mandatory)
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in compliance with UAE regulations
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, health & safety regulations, and inspection protocols
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore)
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- UAE driving license preferred
