Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. in Dubai is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all construction activities for a mixed-use development. You will coordinate residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality elements, manage schedules, budgets, and quality, and ensure compliance with Dubai regulations.

The ideal candidate has a civil/construction degree, 5–8 years of PM experience, preferably in hospitality, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of construction project management experience with at least 5 years on hospitality projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proven track record delivering complex multi-discipline projects involving coordination of residential towers, retail podiums, and associated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction operations across all phases from mobilization through handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate construction management software, coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure milestone achievement.
• Establish project governance structures and reporting protocols aligned with client requirements and organizational standards.
• Serve as primary point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Administer construction contracts in accordance with FIDIC or other applicable contract frameworks.
• Coordinate with main contractors and specialty subcontractors across multiple building types and systems.
• Facilitate regular progress meetings and maintain clear communication channels with all project participants.
• Enforce quality control procedures and conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor site health and safety compliance, ensuring contractor adherence to Dubai Municipality and client safety standards.

Position Overview:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or equivalent are highly preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, building systems, and sequencing for mixed‑use developments
• Proficiency in construction management software including Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost control systems
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
• Outstanding communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is advantageous
