Job description

Scope of Responsibilities:

Lead project management, including directing and coordinating all resources to ensure construction meets client contractual requirements efficiently and cost-effectively. Experience managing projects over $75 million is required.

Primary Duties :

  • Coordinate all project/site activities, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, optimized resource usage, and achievement or exceeding of projected profit margins. Occasionally lead proposal preparations.
  • Understand contract requirements thoroughly and oversee preliminary planning stages.
  • Coordinate mobilization efforts, review activities, assign actions, set timescales, and establish communication channels.
  • Manage resourcing, including staffing and equipment, ensuring accuracy and arranging necessary supply steps.
  • Develop and monitor project planning, implementing corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Ensure project monitoring systems are in place, review financial performance regularly, and maintain effective budget control.
  • Provide on-site resources and expertise for supervision, monitoring, and compliance with standards and policies.
  • Understand and secure project insurance coverage as required.
  • Review safety and QA/QC plans with relevant heads and submit for client approval.
  • Resolve contractual and legal issues, minimizing risks to the company.
  • Monitor workforce demobilization and facilitate workforce relocation or release.
  • Represent the company with clients, suppliers, partners, and contractors, negotiating terms to protect interests.
  • Oversee supplier and subcontractor performance, resolving disputes and addressing sub-standard work.
  • Manage payments from clients and to suppliers/subcontractors, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Prepare and present final project documentation, coordinate with the client for acceptance and release of guarantees.
  • Participate in project review upon completion, identifying learning opportunities.
  • Maintain good relations with clients, partners, and authorities to promote company interests.
  • Provide input for contract estimation, ensuring coverage of all activities.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and implement technological advances.
  • Perform any additional activities as required.
