Job DescriptionTo lead and manage the execution of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works for assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Project Planning & Execution- Plan, organize, and oversee the full MEP scope of work from mobilization through to commissioning and handover.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contractual documents to define scope, schedule, and resources.
- Develop detailed project schedules in coordination with planning teams and ensure timely execution.
Cost & Resource Management- Monitor project budgets and control costs to meet financial targets.
- Manage procurement of MEP materials and subcontractors in coordination with procurement and commercial teams.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
Quality & Compliance- Ensure all MEP activities are executed in accordance with project specifications, relevant standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, etc.), and quality assurance procedures.
- Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning activities with QA/QC and third-party agencies.
- Address technical issues and ensure timely resolution of site conflicts.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)- Enforce strict adherence to HSE regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site reviews and safety audits in coordination with the HSE department.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination- Lead project teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and task completion.
- Act as the key liaison with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Conduct progress meetings, submit project reports, and handle client correspondence.
Project Closeout- Oversee testing & commissioning, as-built documentation, snag list closure, and final handover.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed as per contract and client satisfaction.
