A civil engineering project manager manages the planning and delivery of civil engineering projects:

• Project Scope: Defines the project scope, sets schedules, and allocates resources.
• Project Management: Oversees the project from conception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.
• Team Management: Provides direction and manages the day-to-day activities of the project team, including consultants and contractors.
• Communication: Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders, team members, and leadership to ensure milestones are met.
• Quality Assurance: Ensures quality deliverables and that QA/QC procedures are followed.
• Risk Management: Minimizes exposure and risk on the project.
• Documentation: Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Collaboration: Collaborates with a diverse team of professionals such as architects, engineers, and construction staff.
• Compliance: Monitors compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
