Project Manager – Interior Fit Out

Immediate opportunity for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers with an International multidisciplinary organisation for their projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

Our client, who provides bespoke fit-out services to the commercial and hospitality sector, seeks Project Managers with interiors experience to project manage their projects in GCC.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the project schedule and distribute information in a timely manner to ensure that full compliance with the contract is adhered to.
2. Provide required information to the Design Coordinator to ensure design aspects can be managed.
3. Manage and monitor all sub-contractor's work for compliance with their contracts.
4. Liaise with the planning department regarding design, engineering, production, logistic, and installation scheduling.
5. Liaise with the commercial department and the Project Quantity Surveyor on all variations and cost implications.
6. Liaise with the procurement and production departments on all technical procurement issues.
7. Prepare, monitor, and track all PCO's (Proposed Change Orders) and CO's (Change Orders).
8. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for submittal to Senior Management and client.
9. Attend all designated meetings in house, with the client or nominated representative, with sub-contractors, designers, and on site.
10. Implement and maintain Occupational Health and Safety plan on site.
11. Set up and maintain a well-structured site office and manage onsite Fit-out Supervisors.
12. Coordinate the flow of information between sub-contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Construction related degree qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
2. Previous project management experience in Interior fit-out of commercial office and hotel space.
3. Solid experience in project costing and scheduling and preparing responses to proposals.
4. Excellent communication skills essential.
5. Successful candidate should be highly flexible and adaptable and be experienced in managing a multicultural workforce.
