Job description

This role in the Tech GRC team is responsible for Information and Technology Risk management monitoring, technology regulatory compliance reporting. The focus will encompass everything from 'ad hoc' requests to Technology GRC reviews.

Responsibilities

• IT GRC Reviews – Measure, Mitigate, and Report the risk to appropriate levels.
• Ensure that Risk Control Self-Assessment for Technology Units (including IBG) aligns with Operational Risk Methodology.
• Review processes of Risk Mitigation, Risk Transfer, Risk Deviation, and Risk Acceptance. Share feedback periodically with Senior Management on accepted risks at the bank’s level.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement is adequately governed, with periodic reviews and escalations.
• Govern, report, and follow-up with Technology units on the closure of findings or opportunities identified during audits.
• Assist Technology units in identifying and documenting mitigating controls to address control gaps related to the technology environment and system applications.
• Monitor exceptions/deviations by technology units, ensuring early closure and regularization.
• Enhance collaboration with support functions like Audit, Operational Risk Management, and Information Security.
• Assist IBG Technology managers with technology regulatory submissions and audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Technology GRC within the Banking domain.
• Proficient in technical skills including IT General Controls, IT audits, ITIL Processes, IT Risk Management, metrics reporting, technical problem resolution, and vendor risk management.
• Ability to multitask, handle changing priorities, and work independently in a fast-changing environment. Responsibilities include metrics reporting, action tracking, project status reporting, and delivering on short-term initiatives.
• Effective communication and engagement skills across all management levels, articulating risk exposure, advising on mitigation, and providing clear updates on key projects.
• Experience in enterprise risk governance, driving IT best practices, and continuous improvement across diverse businesses. An understanding of technological changes, impacts, and global IT expectations is desirable.
• Certifications such as ISO 27001 LA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are desirable.
