Job description

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under it’s umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker’s, Grind, Somewhere and Public.

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Project Manager. The role manages and coordinates company projects through all phases of design, permitting and construction. Provides leadership regional site project management function by managing, coordinating and developing staff and third party project representatives.

  • Ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines
  • Manages program of projects and projects team within a region to ensure successful completion and coordination of all efforts
  • Develops programs and annual budget
  • Prepares detailed construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding. Is responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval signatures.
  • Monitors progress, provides financial control and ensures quality of project
  • Responsible for ensuring that management of the project team, develop schedules and budgets for assigned projects, prepare detailed construction cost estimates and documentation
  • Ensures all projects are completed within budget and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines
  • Managing special studies, initiatives or due diligence assignments
  • Participate in or oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors and other outside vendors and selected vendors
  • Interacts with governmental branches and regulatory agencies as required to ensure that projects comply with all applicable legal requirements and regulations
  • Makes presentations to senior management
  • Hires, manages, and develops staff
