Job Title: Project Manager

DECO Group of Companies, a leading organization in Electrical Instrumentation & Controls contracting, is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects within defined parameters, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic and operational goals.

Responsibilities

1. Site Planning

• Plan and manage resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager to ensure timely submission of the 4WLA (Four-Week Look-Ahead) schedule.
• Oversee techno-commercial negotiations and ensure successful closure.

Site Execution

• Ensure the timely mobilization of resources (Men, Material, Machinery).
• Assess changes to the project baseline and generate Change Order Requests (COR) for approval.
• Prepare and submit milestone invoices as per the project schedule.

Monitoring & Control

• Monitor daily and weekly project progress, ensuring productivity ratios (SPI, CPI) are met.
• Implement and oversee appropriate processes to generate desired project outcomes.
• Attend weekly construction coordination meetings to address major site issues and ensure their resolution.
• Ensure clear communication of technical queries and CORs with the client and other contractors.

Reporting

• Prepare and submit cost control sheets periodically.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of daily progress reports, detailing manpower deployment, activity progress, material usage, and constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10 years in the Electrical domain (Construction), with 4-6 years in a Project Manager role in the UAE.
• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics from a recognized university (MUST).
• Certifications: PMP Certification is an added advantage.
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS-Office, Quantity Surveying, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Project Execution.
• Other Requirements: UAE Driving License (MUST).
