Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Director to oversee and manage complex tunnel projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Your Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, implementation, and closing of projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
2. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment focused on business value.
3. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder satisfaction.
4. Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify project risks and opportunities and develop mitigation/management strategies to ensure project success.
5. Contract Management: Manage the fulfillment of contracts and proactive claim and change management.
6. Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource use and timely financial reporting.
7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet standards.
8. Reporting: Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.

Your Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years proven track record in project management, leading projects in an international environment. Experience with traffic tunnel projects & ITS in the Middle East is required.
• Certifications: PMP or IPMA project management certification.
• Language: Fluency in English (verbal and written, level C1 minimum).
• Skills: Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence). Solid understanding of IT and telecommunication technologies. Agile competencies are a benefit. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
