Job description

The Project Manager Direct is responsible for delivering a product or service project to an external customer and holds accountability for the project's revenue and profitability results.

Develops best practices across multiple customers or within the Business Line.

Note : This position can report to either the Regional Head of Project Execution (82940589), Program Manager Direct (82940530), or Senior Project Manager Direct (82940529).

Responsible for the overall project performance.

Maintains a strong relationship with the relevant customer.

Organizes project launch meetings to ensure all requirements are completed according to company procedures.

Ensures the project is managed in accordance with the project management system and procedures, establishing and aligning project-specific procedures as required by contract.

Implements project controls including contract management, claims management, risk management, and change management.

Identifies and mitigates changes to project scope via Management of Change (MOCs).

Provides updates and forecasts for project completion, cash milestones, margin, on-time delivery, and resources.

Acts as the main point of contact for all project administration-related tasks with the customer.

Fosters collaboration between engineering teams, including packages and systems, if applicable.

Documents opportunities for continuous improvement and lessons learned in appropriate databases for future reference.

Leads the project team across all aspects and members, including engineering, project services, manufacturing, etc., maintaining regular communication and agenda.

Bachelor's degree with experience in a similar role.
