Job summary

Ecs Me in Dubai seeks an experienced IT Project Manager focused on cybersecurity to drive security initiatives and ensure on-time delivery.

You will lead planning, risk management, vendor coordination, and governance while reporting metrics to stakeholders. A strong background in network/application security and AWS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5–8 years IT project management experience with at least 3 years cybersecurity focus.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans for the initiative, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the agreed goals.
• Identify, assess, report on and proactively manage risks associated with the project.
• Collaborate with multiple IT teams to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to executive stakeholders.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of the product from vendors. Manage the implementation efforts with the vendor team with governance to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, risk assessments, test results, and final reports. Produce metrics and dashboards to measure project success and security posture improvements.

Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on cybersecurity or information risk management.

Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2

Technical Skills: Understanding of network and application security, cloud environments (primarily AWS), WAF, CDN and Bot Management.

Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving threats and business needs.
