A leading financial technology company in Sharjah is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Core Banking initiatives. This role requires excellent stakeholder management and project documentation skills, a strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and a minimum of 5 years of project management experience. The position offers a dynamic work environment focused on effective collaboration and quality assurance.
This role involves managing and coordinating the delivery of Core Banking initiatives by ensuring seamless collaboration between business teams, IT, and other stakeholders. The position requires overseeing project plans, timelines, and dependencies while aligning technical teams and business requirements. A key focus is on facilitating effective communication, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality, regulatory, and performance standards within an Agile environment.
2- Key Responsibilities :
Ensure effective coordination between business teams, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders for Core Banking and related project streams
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, and key milestones
Track progress of project activities and ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding tasks and deliverables
Facilitate regular meetings, prepare minutes of meetings, and ensure clear action items are documented and followed up
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation to relevant stakeholders for resolution
Drive alignment between technical teams and business requirements to ensure successful project outcomes
Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, status updates, and governance records
Support validation, testing coordination, and quality checks to ensure project deliverables meet expectations
Monitor project performance and progress, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards
3- Experience & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Project Management role
PMP certificate is a strong advantage or similar project certificate
Previous experience working on Core Banking projects or similar large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives
Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
Strong skills in stakeholder management, coordination, and conflict resolution
Proven ability to manage project documentation, plans, and governance processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in complex project environments
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
