The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in the UAE, specializing in structural, steel, and concrete works. Responsibilities include defining project scope, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering along with relevant certifications such as PMP is essential. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • PMP, PBL certifications.
  • Diploma in DTP, GD.
  • PGDCA.
  • Proficient in CAD 2D/3D.

  • Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring effective execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the project scope
  • Create a construction estimate based on a material
  • Create and manage a construction project budget
  • Create a construction project management plan
  • Negotiate with general contractors and subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts
  • Develop a construction schedule, with project deliverables and milestones
  • Keep inventory of tools, equipment and machinery
  • Manage resources such as construction materials, construction workers and equipment
  • Allocate and manage resource logistics
  • Create status reports for project stakeholders
  • Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager and other members of the construction team
  • Obtain building permits, licenses and meet code regulations
  • Maintain health and safety standards
Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Implement and maintain project management methodologies and tools to track progress and performance.
Team Leadership and Coordination
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor project teams, including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and project specifications.
Client and Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear and timely updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution and address concerns proactively.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation to clients and senior management.
Compliance and Quality Control
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and evaluate project deliverables, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to enforce compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
Financial Management and Budgeting
  • Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control, ensuring that expenditures remain within approved limits.
  • Manage financial aspects of the project, including procurement, subcontractor payments, and change orders.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management and clients.
Risk Management and Problem-Solving
  • Identify potential project risks, including delays, cost overruns, and quality issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve conflicts and issues promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project progress and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Adapt project plans and strategies in response to unforeseen challenges and changing project requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper archiving of project records for future reference and compliance purposes.
