Project Manager (Airport/ANS) - Fixed Term Contract

Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of complex Air Navigation Services (ANS) projects. This role is pivotal in advancing operational, technical, and regulatory capabilities within the region's airspace. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless delivery of initiatives related to air traffic management, infrastructure development, and regulatory compliance-meeting all project goals on time, within scope, and in full alignment with ICAO and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) standards.

This position would suit a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management and a keen interest in air navigation services, who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and is committed to delivering high-impact outcomes.

This is a fixed term contract of 12 months duration based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage all phases of ANS projects with the client, from planning and coordination to execution and delivery.
  • Act as the central point of contact across stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless integration of objectives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management tools.
  • Provide structured governance and reporting, including milestones, risk updates, and steering committee inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with ICAO standards and Civil Aviation Authority guidance.
  • Collaborate with procurement and technical teams to verify vendor performance and system specifications.
  • Oversee integration, testing, and safety assurance processes ahead of deployment.
  • Drive training and transition planning to ensure operational readiness for new systems or procedures.


Specific Requirements
  • Skilled in contract management, stakeholder coordination, and performance monitoring ideally within aviation or ANSP environments
  • Certified in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale or mission-critical projects
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams across operations, engineering and safety
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning, including Earned Value Management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project risk, integrating safety, quality, and regulatory compliance into delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership and regulatory bodies
