Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to act as a strategic liaison between internal teams and clients. The role emphasizes hands-on mobile and web development and requires leading projects from conception to delivery using Agile and Scrum.

The candidate will oversee cross-functional teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning business objectives with project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 57years of proven experience in project management in software development.
• Strong understanding of mobile (iOS/Android) and web development technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools (Jira, Trello, Confluence).
• Experience in client-facing roles with strong stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, code repositories (e.g. Git) and deployment pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact between the company and clients for all technical and project-related matters.
• Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for mobile and web development projects.
• Translate client requirements into actionable user stories, tasks and deliverables for the development team.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA and DevOps to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocation and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring proactive resolution.
• Ensure clear communication and transparency with stakeholders at all levels.
• Monitor project progress and performance, preparing regular status reports for leadership and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, team collaboration and client satisfaction.
